Cancer Screening Camp For Women

A medical emergency is a cause for tremendous emotional and financial stress for most families, which is exacerbated by escalating hospitalisation bills and medicine costs. Medical and health insurance do not cover the entire cost of treatment, especially in the case of cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Deeds for Needs tries to provide financial assistance to the needy to meet the cost of medical treatment. We were able to help two patients …. and ,,,,, with their cancer treatment expenses.

Deeds for needs also regularly conducts camps in slums – cancer screening, health and hygiene and awareness of the use of proper medical and sanitary products.

Next We concentrate on making a change in the lives of individuals who do not have the means of providing for themselves. This can be in the form of distribution of grocery, distributing household items and clothes or helping with funds for education. We extend our help to anyone who is genuinely in need. The smiles on all these faces is our reward.

Capsules Of Thalidomide To The Leprosy Home

DEEDS FOR NEEDS sent 300 capsules of thalidomide to the Leprosy home -the medicine that helps in controlling Leprosy.

Surgery For Breast Cancer

Deeds for needs happily announces that my friend Munira Zakir for whom all of you contributed so generously underwent a surgery for breast cancer and after that did chemotherapy radiation and took 17 herceptine injections. Today with the support given to deeds for needs by all of you today she is cancer free fit, fine and very happy-

Cancer Camp in collaboration with CPAA (Cancer Patients Aids Association), this was a one-day camp for screening of cervical and breast cancer for the ladies of Krishna Nagar, Pune. Distributed Blankets, shawls and sanitary pads and Lunch to the ladies.

Bandorwalla Leprosy Home, Near Sinhgad College, Kondhwa, Pune

Changed all the mattresses, provided two sets of bed sheets with pillow covers, provide cupboards, fumigation of the complete area for the inmates.
Regular distribution of medicines, gauze and powder.

Munira Zakir, Pune & Jamila baldiwala

Arranged money for breast cancer patients for their surgery. Also got the Chemotherapy and Radiation charges waived off. The follow up treatment was also funded.
Today Munira Zakir is cancer free.
