Meet Our Team
Priya Kapadia
Founder
In the year 1940 when the winds of change were sweeping through Pre independence India Priya's great grandmother took Gandhiji's words"be the change you want to see in the world" to heart and started the Hansraj Pragji Thackersey gujarati medium school for girls in Mumbai and Dwarka and her immense faith in a higher power led her to be one of the founders of the Shankhnarayan temple as well as a gaushala in Dwarka. Thus it was preordained that Priya while fulfilling her family responsibilities would also make the calling of her ancestors her own.
Sangeeta Saxena
Founder
It is said that we learn by example and when Sangeeta's grandfather established Dharamshalas in Mathura and Vrindavan which provided free shelter to weary devotees she absorbed this philosophy and carries it along through Deeds for Needs.Ours is one of the oldest civilisations in the world and from her uncle who left the comfort of being a revered professor in London by coming back to India and establishing an institute in Vrindavan which revives our timeless texts and scriptures she understood the importance of staying true to one's roots and culture.
